Act now: Ask your MP to call for a tax dodging inquiry

Tax dodging has been in the media a lot lately. Representatives of Starbucks, Amazon and Google had a hard time when they appeared before Parliament's Public Accounts Committee recently. But the issue is wider than individual companies – we need change across the board to close loopholes and secure vital funding for public services. Will you ask your MP to take a stand today?

Government estimates show that in 2011, £35billion of UK tax was dodged. Every pound of that is a pound less to spend on vital services like schools and hospitals.

Its time we had Fair Taxes, with a level playing field for all companies. Right now, those that do meet their obligations without hiding profits are penalised for doing the right thing. Please tell your MP to push for a full inquiry into tax dodging and stronger action to close down aggressive tax avoidance schemes.

Our MPs need to know that we care about this issue. So far, 979 people have emailed their MPs about this issue. Add your voice now!
