Tell  Vince Cable to put a cap on it

Vince Cable is the Minister with the power to say yes to a cap on credit charges.

We need your help to tell him that extortionate lending is a priority. It is wrong that the poorest pay the most.

We know that doorstep lenders are profiteering. Following one of our earlier campaigns, the Competition Commission acknowledged this - they found at least £750 million has been drained from our poorest communities in the past 10 years by doorstep lenders alone. But they haven't done anything effective about it. Since the Commission's report, prices have increased by a further 26%.

Please tell Vince Cable it's time to act. Fill in your details below.

We'd like to know whether you have personally used a doorstep lender (eg Provident), payday lender (eg Moneyshop), or Brighthouse. If you know yourself what it's like to use one of these companies, you can tell Vince Cable what needs to be done.
